Population aging trend is gradually serious with the development of the economy in our country, all kinds of the chronic diseases have become the leading cause of death among the elderly, those chronic diseases lurk for a long time and become worse as time pass by, in order to have good prevention from the chronic diseases, home healthcare is imperative.At present, the variety of home health care equipment attach to a client management system, and these systems are so closed that can’t be compatible with other manufactures’ medical equipment, this greatly increases the user cost and inconvenience. In order to solve the problem that the medical system can’t be compatible with various medical equipment, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers(IEEEE) established the series of standards name IEEE 11073, these standards unified the interactions between the medical equipment and the medical system in detailed. This paper in view of the compatibility problem in present home healthcare system, develop a home healthcare system based on the IEEE 11073 standards, and the system can be compatible with the medical equipment that according to the IEEE 11073 standards. The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly, this paper does a deep study on the communication model, the service model and the domain information model defined in the 11073 standards, and this paper has a detailed analysis and reasonable design on these three models, implements the core part of the IEEE 11073 standard. Supporting for multiple communication mode with the design of communication plugin-in, shield the diversity the underlying communication modes. Besides, in order to facilitate the transplantation, this paper uses ISO C language to develop the core part of the standards.Secondly, this paper develops a home healthcare management system based on the Android platform, the system calls the core part of the standards by means of the JNI technique. The interactive process between the system and the medical device conforms to the standards’ prescript. When the healthcare system and the medical device all come into the operating state and complete the communication establishing process, the medical device will send the health data to the system, the system receives and parses the personal health data in real time, and shows the result to the user in an intuitive way. The user can selectively transmit the personal health data to the remote data center for a cross-platform view of data.Lastly, this paper develops the server-side software base on the J2 EE techniques, the web server uses the Tomcat, the databases use the MySQL, the overall structure of the server-side uses the SSH open source framework. And the Android client part communicates with the server by use of the HTTP protocol and JSON data exchange format. The server software focuses on the health data management and the user management.This paper performs the system test by means of the medical device simulation program based on Linux platform, the results show that the whole home healthcare system conforms to the IEEE 11073 standards and has a good expansibility and practicality.
