With the more and more evident trend of population aging and the increasing incidence of various diseases in our country, protecting people’s health especially the health of the aged is being more and more valued by the country. The collection and research of the medical data is becoming more and more important but nowadays, the input of medical data in mostly medical management system is manual, which is time-consuming and laborious. So, it’s the trend of Establishing standardized and intelligent medical data acquisition, transmission and management system.At present, mostly medical equipment produced by different companies can only be connected to their own specific medical management system, which is closed relatively. There are existing greatly difference in communication forms due to different companies and these devices could not be unified with each other, which causes the result that different medical equipment produced by different companies could not be compatible with each other. To solve this problem, ISO and CEN formulate the IEEE 11073 standards together which improves the interoperability of the health equipment and system. The optimal exchange protocol is the core of this series of standards. Equipments can communicate with each other as long as they comply with defined organization of data framework and can achieve data transmission between various systems. Based on this standard, this thesis studied and implemented a medical data acquisition, transmission and management system which could be compatible with a variety of standard equipment.Firstly, we studied the series of IEEE 11073 standards at first. Then,we simplified the relevant content of the standard and implemented the core part of the standard in the Android platform.The 11073 core part mainly include these parts that are state machine in communication model, data analysis module, relevant domain model and so on. The IEEE 11073 core part is the key part of this article, it can control the interaction between the Android terminal and health equipment, analyze and process data and convert health data. Taking into account the reusability and the efficiency of the program, this thesis uses standard C to develop the core part of the standard.Secondly, this thesisdevelops a transmission and management system based on the Android platform. The system creates a connection with the standard medical equipment via Bluetooth HDP protocol and implements interfaces to call the core portion to achieve interaction between the Android terminal and IEEE 11073 health equipment by means of JNI technique.When the communication is established, the health equipment will send their data proactively to the management system.Then,the management system will process data and show data in a directly way. The user can process the health data in local or transmit it to the remote data server for view or data processing.Lastly, this thesis develops the server-side software base on SSH open source framework.The server software focuses on the health data management and the user management.According to the simulation tests and physical tests, the results show that the medical data transmission and management system is in line with the ISO/IEEE 11073 standard and can collect the data of standard health equipment. It has good expansibility and practicability.
