Design And Implementation Of The Technical Support Department Decision Support System

Information Technology is being developing very fast these years. More and more IT companies take part in this competition. In our country, many new internet companies expand their service to do research on how they can help the society with information technology. So do the old IT companies. They start to develop many kinds of management systems based on customs’ need. As more and more management systems appear in the market, the jobs using management systems is much easier than ever. However, as old data in these systems increasing day by day, people need a new solution for analyzing these data.This thesis tells about how to develop a decision support system for technical support department which I am working in. After I see what my department needs to improve our service, I analysis all the data which need to be calculated in all management systems associate to our department. I read the books and documents about DSS, and found a better to develop one with the technology including Data Mining, Data Warehouse and On-Line Analytical Processing. After doing some research on the ways of improving our services, I analysis the directions of developing DSS. And finally designed and developed this system based on the real need. The whole thesis tells the detail on how I develop this Decision Support System for Technical Support Department with Java language and based on tomcat and SQL Server.
