Design Of Authentication And Accounting System For Small Area Broad-band

With the high-speed development of internet, the network security, which is based on the network access authentication, becomes more and more important. Currently, there are three popular authentication methods:PPPoE authentication, WEB authentication and 802.1x authentication.This article adopts the method of theory combine with practice, through the profound analysis to three kinds of small area broad-band charge technology, and combines the actual circs of our company unit communication IP city LAN, find out a new small area broad-band charge technology. And get better application in practice.This system adopts"Radius+802.1x+PPPoE"structure to authenticate users. With a radius server which can gather data on real time, this research gives a flexible accounting strategy to get the cost of the users. With the help of Struts, which is based on J2EE structure, this research designs a accounting system and a user self-help system to comprehensively solve the problems of user authentication, user authorization, time computation, flow computation, cost computation and sum query in the application.This research gives a new kind of authentication and accounting blue print small area broad-band with Struts. This research devises an authentication and accounting system for small area broad-band, which is based on 802.1x protocol and PPPoE protocol includes identity authentication system, accounting system and administrative system.
