The Design And Implementation Of Food Quality Traceability System

With the development of economy and the complexity of the food production process, the supply chain of food developed rapidly, therefore the problem of food safety appeared constantly. The unstable factors of food safety exist everywhere in supply chain of food, including raw material production, food processing, food transportation, food selling and other aspects. In face of growing food safety issues, the consumer needs a safe food traceability system. The reliable food traceability information system is an important part of food traceability system, and the important means to realize the food safety management.In order to improve the quality of the tracing information, adding the third party inspection agencies is very necessary. By introducing the third party inspection agencies, food inspection information not only improves the credibility and reliability of the whole food tracing information, but also increases the quality of the food and reputation of the enterprise. Many kinds of identification and tracking technology provide the basis of food quality traceability. The QR-Code became the basis of S company’s food quality tracability system with its large storage, high security, and traceability.Based on analyzing the present situation and problems of the food quality traceability, combining with the demands of S company’s food quality traceability system, we established a food quality traceability system with the QR-code technology in order to realize the food quality and safety management. On the one hand, the establishment of the system can improve the quality of food; on the other hand the system can improve the ability of consumer on food safety identification, enable consumers to buy the safety and high quality food.With a review of the background of food traceability and food traceability system, this paper puts forward the existing problems, and suggests the necessity of the deployment of food traceability system. Analyzing the functional and non-functional requirements of the system, we put forward the design scheme of system. Considering the limitation of paper, we introduced the detail design of product information management module, QR-code management module, traceability information management module and user management module. Finally we realized the food traceability information system.By implementing food quality traceability information system, on the one hand the information of the each scatter in food supply chain can get together; increase the traceability of food and credibility of traceability information. On the other hand, achieving food quality traceability system also extended the theoretical results of food traceability management.
