WSN(Wireless sensor network) is a network system composed of a large number of micro-sensors, which is widely used in smart house, industrial control, medical system, military control and other fields. But it is also faced with a series of problems, such as an increasing demand of IP address, the auto stateless connection and configuration, the difficulty in addressing of communication between nodes of WSN and the integration with the Internet. In order to solve these problems above, we must realize the WSN based IP.WSN and IP are different types of network, the only method to realize the integration between them is the full IP, which is achived by adding the adaptation layer. To solve these problems, we completed the 6LoWPAN architecture of wireless sensor network based on IP, that is to say achieve their connection by adding 6LoWPAN adaptation layer above the data link layer and under the network layer. The network is realized by RPL and its network layer protocol is IPv6, which is enough for the requirements of space of address. The routing protocol is not only simple but efficient, and can support stateless automatic discovery and configuration of nodes. In the WSN, we realized the application of CoAP protocol, users can directly access and control nodes in the browser by IPv6. They can also directly manage these sensor nodes in the distance.This thesis first introduced the background and significance of the research, and then made a depth study of 6LoWPAN, RPL and CoAP, transplanted Contiki operating system on the SM2530 node successfully and realized the integration of WSN and IPv6. Finally, we applied IP nodes in wisdom agricultural project. Tests proved that the use of IP wireless sensor nodes can not only automatically conncect the network without configration, and the user can also directly access the node information and control the nodes.At the same time,they are able to access the nodes in the browser by IPv6 addressing.
