Confronted with complicated and changing social situation, the postal service of hundreds of years has faced with the unprecedented challenge. Although it has tried to make the marketing of itself and the linked products via database, due to the objective facts of having many disciplines, business and clients, in front of the new challenge, how to integrate the resources of various disciplines, and realize the client marketing of multi-discipline and all services through linkage platform has been the new project for the transformation of the postal service. Based on this, this paper tries to research on the redesign of the postal service database marketing system in order to bring benefits to the resource integration, business linkage, and the practical work.According to the postal service development requirement of N city, with the guidance of database marketing theory, and based on the existing system, this paper integrates the data resources of various disciplines, and builds a database marketing platform of full disciplines and whole data, and with the realization of resource sharing and linkage development. Besides providing the grasps of marketing, the platform can also have the function of management, which can greatly follow the project chronological progress, and timely transfer the excellent case service of the project. This paper firstly analyzes the current situation of the postal service development in N city under the marketing pressure, mainly introducing the key business of the current postal service, and the current situation and existed problems of the development database marketing of each discipline in the current period. Then, aiming at the problems of the failures of discipline data linkage and timely project control existed in the current system, the paper builds a more effective database marketing system by integrating the resources of each discipline. Finally, it determines the corresponding management methods of the possible problems in the system operation process and marketing activity promotions.
