With the development of electric power industry, the smart grid is more about practical application instead of concept, and the intelligent substation is an important part of the construction of smart grid. This paper is about the temperature measurement system design and implementation based on wireless sensor network, the system is designed for contactless temperature measurement of high voltage equipment, and real-time monitoring of the target.The design of the system is proposed based on the needs of the project. Firstly, this paper introduces the hardware platform of the sensor node and the sink node designed by the laboratory, and then emphatically analyzes the software design and implementation based the hardware platform. The sensor node works for data collection of the net, and its software platform is built by transplanting the embedded operation system named TinyOS, while the software platform of sink node is non operation system.After completing the construction of sensor node module and sink node module, this paper discusses the network scheme design, including network topology, data flow control and time synchronization scheme. Then, the process of system communication is interpreted by introducing the design of communication control protocol and the communication protocol on the application layer.This paper realizes a network management platform which is a key technology of wireless sensor network when it goes to practical application, and the management platform is designed by Java. The platform provides visual interface, data analyzing, processing and storage, and it implements several functions including real-time temperature monitoring, node query, network configuration and the replacement of the node’s ID.The system designed by this paper and related research work provides high reference value for the industrial application.
