The Research Of Time Management About WLAN Construction Projects In University

Since 2002,led by operators of CMCC, operators have started to carry out the WLAN business.After market cultivation and technological innovation for several years, this business have been gradually received by most of users.As the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games being held, the demand for WLAN service has grown further.Currently, many large and medium-sized cities are paying their attention to creating and expanding the WLAN hotspot.In this context, by researching and analysing WLAN construction projects in University of Chengdu, this paper intends to make contribution to early completing the construction of a "wireless Chengdu".This paper adopts case analysis system of combing the theory and application and pays main attention to the application of the project time management. This article first introduces the theory of project management, including brief introduction of development process of domestic and international project management theory,the project triangle theory, management-by-objective theory and project time management theory.Of all these theories,it mainly introduces project time management theory.Secondly, based on the project time management theory, the article applys excellent tools and methods into every phase and the whole project management of WLAN construction in university. According to the order of the project process,this paper separately does research on three stages of designing,constructing and examining on time management.In each phase,this paper respectively does research and analysis from the planning, controlling and changing of the construction period of the project time management.Finally, the paper analyses the methods of further optimizing the the progress of the project in overall level, and discusses how to balance resources, cost and quality of in the construction period. Also, according to the characteristics of the project,it analyses other risk factors which may affect the progress.This paper explores the application rules about theory, tools and methods used in the WLAN construction of each stage and overall project management in universities and intends to help to shortening construction periods,improving the efficiency of construction and establishing a reasonable time management template.
