Design And Implementation Of Guangxi Meteorological Service Information System

With the rapid development of the modern meteorological service system, more and more meteorological data is used in people’s production and life, therefore there is an urgent need to develop the functional meteorological service information system. Meteorological information database system is a comprehensive business system, which supports such features as: the unified storage and management of provincial meteorological service data, establishment of meteorological data collection, memory management and so on. Meteorological service staffs at all levels can access these data either through online or offline mode.Developing and implementating the meteorological information database system of Guangxi is mainly researched in this paper. The research trend and development tendency of meteorological industry both inside and outside of China is firstly analyzed, and then putting forward the design requirement and overall design idea. Secondly, on the basis of “Meteorological data classification and coding and naming”, this paper is sorting out the main service meteorological data of Guangxi, and then preparing to develop the system database according to the Guangxi Meteorological Department of the actual situation and the data flow. Thirdly, using the tomcat+oracle construction model and combining with the mainstream technology of system development, this study established metabase, real-time database and historical database, which based on the unified framework of database design and specific to design the data storage scheme with different data types. Finally, XML technology basing on metadata description mechanism and Web Service technology which is able to solve the distributed and complex network in the isomerism environment are available to study the contents such as the reason. It can effectively store and manage historical, real-time meteorological data and products and achieved to establish the meteorological data storage service of district-level by following the classification of file level data and feature level data. In detail introduced after system implementation, testing the system and get the conclusion, which provides services to lay a solid foundation for the later better.The design and realization of meteorological information database system of Guangxi is providing standard used platform of meteorological data for information sharing of Guangxi meteorological departments at all levels. In the actual application process, it is obtaining high praise from meteorological departments at all levels and fully sharing and managing the meteorological data, which bring great convenience to meteorological workers and users at all levels.
