With the rapid development of Shanghai Iron and Steel Group in recent years, the business scale of the enterprise is increasing steadily. It is a new challenge to establish a Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) to effectively reduce operating costs, increase customer satisfaction level, improve service quality, and enhance business efficiency. The most critical part to establish this Finance Shared Service Center is to integrate all existing Financial Business Systems, such as Reimbursement system, Accounts Receivable system, and Funding system, through an electronic operational structure based on one whole management system, and set up the standards for current processes. This paper starts with a summary of the importance of establishing a Finance Shared Service Center. Based on the research, the Service-Oriented Architecture technology is considered to be the best solution to feed the requirements of building a Finance Shared Service Center. The reimbursement management and image management which are the core sub-systems of the whole financial shared services management system are analyzed. The detail design of the^core architecture of the finance shared service management system is contrived through SOA technology based on the analysis results of financial shared services management system. As the core subsystem of the finance shared service management system, the reimbursement subsystem is built in with Java EE architecture and the image management subsystem is structured by.Net technology. With SOA technology, these two subsystems based on different IT technology architectures can be consolidated and integrated into one unified system in an efficient and effective way. There is no doubt that such a stand-alone or semi-autonomous Shared Service Center is able to provide a supportive platform, from which Shanghai Iron and Steel Group will benefit to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency dramatically.
