Sinter Integrated Control Expert System (SICES), designed by Zhongye Changtian International Engineering Co., Ltd, is a major advancement of sintering process for domestic industry. Its fundamental function is process parameter optimization. Therefore, quality and quantity requirements are met and energy consumption is minimized.One core technology of data analysis and process in SICES is the research and design of graphical visualization component, CIEGraph, as well as the industrial index visualization display, systematic statistical analysis based on it, and sintering production report system, vector graphic library for sintering equipment, and sintering quality and burning through point(BTP) forecast system.The main contributions of this thesis are as follows:1. This paper develop a graphical demonstration component, CIEGraph, based on which develops real-time trend and historical trend presentation, statistical visualization and analysis system of industrial index.2. This paper develop sintering production report system based on RDL language. Historical data from data acquisition terminals are utilized in the development of sintering production report system.3. This paper develop vector graphic library for sintering equipment. It provides more than 30 graphical presentations for SICES, which is applied in the sintering process monitoring user interfaces.4. This paper develop an on-line, BP neural network-based, sintering quality and burning through point (BTP) forecast system. It forecasts sintering quality and BTP and presents the forecast results by Human-Computer Interface.The developed SICES is deployed in field production about 1 year. It has increased process automation, reduced man power and their work load, improved efficiency, quality and quantity of sintering, and brought significant economic benefits.
