With the continuously development of science and technology, the application of infrared thermal imaging and temperature measuring instrument is becoming more and more widely. The requirements of image display for the infrared thermal imaging and temperature measuring instrument and temperature measurement accuracy have been improved. This paper studies the infrared image processing theory and algorithm of infrared temperature measuring and theory of temperature measuring error correction. On this basis, I completed the infrared image processing of the original image and realized the infrared measuring temperature based on temperature calibration algorithm and temperature measuring error correction technology at the ARM platform of Windows CE 6.0 embedded operating system. The infrared thermal imaging and temperature measuring instrument has good effect of display and temperature measurement accuracy. This graduation design mainly finished the following content.This paper researched the characteristics of infrared original image and the need of image processing technology. This paper got the methods of image processing according to the characteristics of the image processing technology and the characteristics of infrared image, infrared image non-uniform correction use two points non-uniform correction algorithm. when temperature drift occurs, using one point correction to correct the non-uniform of the image. As to blind pixels detection, using circle detection method to detect dead blind and overheating blind, compensation method is using adjacent pixels to compensate blind pixels. The lens compensation that we use is compensation method based on image difference before and after infrared lens. Image enhancement that we use is the linear stretch image enhancement method, the tensile parameters that we use is the adaptive adjustment method.According to the object radiation theory, analysis and research infrared radiation temperature measuring theory. According to the characteristics of the infrared detector we use in this design and the further study of infrared temperature measurement algorithm,I summed up the temperature measurement algorithm for ARM embedded system platform, namely the temperature- gray value curve calibration algorithm. Analysis of external factors that affect the accuracy of infrared temperature measurement and error correction methods. Based on the characteristics of the temperature measurement algorithm we use in this design and the hardware design of the infrared thermal imaging and temperature measuring instrument, summarizes the object gray value adjustment and calibration curve deformation to correct temperature measuring error. Tested the temperature measurement method and error correction method of infrared temperature measurement, got the satisfactory results.This paper analyzed characteristics of common embedded system on ARM platform, finally choose Windows CE 6.0 as the design of the embedded system platform. Using VS2005 as development tool to design infrared thermal imaging and temperature measuring system software, the software contains infrared image processing algorithm and temperature measurement algorithm. Design module including FPGA interaction(CIrPort), the infrared image processing(CIrImage), thermal imaging temperature measurement algorithm(CIrCeWen) and graphical display(CIrDrawObject), and other software modules. Test display result of infrared thermal imaging and temperature measuring software and the accuracy of temperature measurement. Ensure that the infrared thermal imaging temperature measuring instrument has temperature error within 2 ℃ in 0 ~ 120 ℃ temperature range.
