Recently, the simulation design and application of objects by EDA software has been widely applied in various fields and industries, including large-scale enterprises, institutional organizations, scientific and technological centers based on teaching purpose etc. For example, especially for high-end products by mechanical design and manufacturing such as aircraft, the application of EDA has made a great difference in its development, plotting, simulation and performance test etc.The thesis fully combined with the use of EDA software Cadence、HFSS and ADS, which works on the entity--CMOS Low Noise Amplifier( CMOS RF LNA) by modeling, analyzing models and comparing simulation and actual measurement, thus obtaining precise models and a complete design and verification process, it’s a very important theoretical and practical significance for basing on communication technology application of CMOS RF LNA.In this thesis, first of all, the researches on electronic circuit design and electromagnetic simulation software are made, choosing proper software and researching various design software function and usage. Then it demand analysis are made on the object of study, which is on the simulation design of low noise amplifiers to achieve the performance indicators are analyzed. And then analyses all kinds of structure of low noise amplifiers, compares the advantages and disadvantages of each circuit, and discusses the method of inductor design, its high frequency characteristics and various parameters in HFSS. Meanwhile the necessity of inductor component in low noise amplifiers, the thesis analyses CMOS silicon substrate inductance’s characteristic parameter and its high frequency characteristics etc.which offers the basic knowledge to the latter research. To continue, the thesis designs simulation design method of four kinds of low noise amplifiers and three kinds of low noise amplifier inductance. The four kinds of low noise amplifiers, including single-ended cascode LNA, differential input and output LNA, LN A with Balun structure and linearity-raised LNA. Three kinds of low noise amplifier inductance, including inductor with tap, inductor without tap and Balun. At last, this thesis shows the layout structure of the latter three kids of differential LNA by using Cadence. The latter three differential LNA shows the after simulation results, while differential LNA by Balun structure gains the ideal results,going through 90 mm Tape Out and chip testing.The whole thesis is through three EDA software Cadence、HFSS and ADS software simulation done together and shows the significance meaning for software engineering.
