With the development of society, the demand for efficient and immediate medical health care is increasing. However, the community healthcare resources are limited. So far, large general hospitals and specialized hospitals in China had information construction with established HIS system. Though the management level of the hospital has been improved, there are still many problems, such as, the identity of rapid and accurate identification of patients and doctor’s advice during the execution real-time tracking. So a large number of medical accidents are unavoidable. So far, health care workers should go to each workstation and return the bed to get information in ward inspections. The HIS clinical work needs information systems which can be extended to the patient bedside, as a result mobile patient bedside information system is the inevitable trend in hospital information construction.In order to solve the problems above, according to the basis of the actual business needs and depth understanding of the work needed for medical staff, we analyzed the medical staff job content and workflow. We also designed a safer easily checked patient information mobile workstation system with more accurate, real-time and complete data collection and entry of patient information. According to the difficult and critical point of current work status in health care rounds, we proposed the mobile medical workstation solutions based on RFID technology. This RFID-based mobile health care system is implemented by Visual Studio.Net 2008/VB/SQL Server2008. Theoretical analysis and practical application are presented in this paper. First of all, the system composed of the underlying collection system and the upper application system components. In addition, since the application of wireless technology and mobile data terminals and RFID technology, the medical errors are reduced. Lastly, Replication is used in this system for it is Microsoft’s latest technologies in this particular database synchronization process to achieve remote access to data. The details of the implementation process synchronization, including the steps to configure specific programming server and client implementations are all presented in this paper.In conclusion, we use RFID technology to identify the patient’s identity quickly and accurately. Effective solution to the existing hospital or nursing rounds in health care and other defects are improved, so as to reduce medical errors and improve the efficiency of the medical staff and quality of care. Finally, the paper presented conclusion on mobile medical information system which proposed that RFID-based hospital information system is bound to be widely promoted in most of the large hospitals in this country and as the main direction of the hospital information construction in the future.
