Interfaces Deign Of Health Care Products For The Aged

With the development of internet technology，the lack of social medical resources and thegrowth of people’s requirement for health care products, wearable health care products has beenthe trend of development. Their strength locate at that they can provide consecutive, real-timeand dynamic supervision for users without influence for user’s life and work.Wearable devices are usually consisted of intelligent hard wares and smart phones. Smartphones are the key of core tasks such as information processing, exhibiting, pushing and so on.Most people can complete controlling hard wares and receiving information collected by hardwares fluently. But the aged as the target group of health care products, can’t use smart phonesfreely. As a result, health care products can’t be used effectively. That’s the starting point of thisarticle, it is needed to improve the user experience of the aged using smart phones to use healthproducts more effectively through a kind of interface design method concluded with variousresearch methods.The classification and trend of development of health care products were concluded throughmarket research and analysis to get that the key points of health care products locate in thefashion of intelligent hardware, the platform of APPs and the popularization of cloud services.And the platform and the cloud services need to be realized through mobile phone interfaces. Asa consequence, interfaces are the key evaluation criteria of health care products. It can belearned through literature research that the aged have cognition loads when facing the existinginterfaces. Besides, when using smart phones, requirement of devices and information changedynamically according to different usage scenarios. It is needed to do more operation to meet thechange, which contributes more cognition loads to the aged. Design goals can be concluded asfollows: to simplify the interaction process of mobile phone APP interface, to design a kind ofinterface which is easy for the aged to understand, to push the information according to the usagescenarios of the aged.To meet the design goals, the context theory is adopted and gives a deep introduction tocontext. Design methods of interfaces of health care products for the aged are concluded fromdefinition, characteristic, acquirement, classification and application of the context theory andfinally put forward a reflection model between information pushing and usage scenarios. Thereflection model will be used to direct the design of smart phone interface of health care products to let the interface be accommodative for usage scenarios to reduce users’ cognition loads.The design of interfaces of health care products based on the context theory are representedthrough the specific design cases. And the eye tracking system is used to evaluate theperformance of the interface based on the context theory in information searching. Besides,questionnaires of subjective satisfaction of interface are also used for evaluation.Finally, there’s a conclusion and a summary of this article and the next step for research andwork is put forward.
