Dongting Lake Freshwater Fish Quality And Safety Traceability System Based On The Internet Of Things

Food safety has been related to people’s livelihood since ancient times. In recent years, people pay much more attention to food safety because of the frequent occ-urrence of food safety incidents, especially about the quality and safety of aquatic products. The Dongting Lake water is rich in resources, freshwater fish has become a major industry in Hunan, therefore, it is necessary to establish a set of freshwater fish quality and safety traceability system.Internet of Things on freshwater quality and safety traceability system has been developed by the use of GPRS remote transmission technology and NFC (Near Field Communication) technology in Internet of Things to analyse various aspects of Dong-ting freshwater fish traceability information in this paper. The system mainly consists of two subsystems of growing environmental monitoring system and freshwater fish traceability system based on NFC.The main work is as follows:(l)The data of water temperature, PH/ORP, dissolved oxygen and other analog in freshwater habitat have been collected to put into the module EDA9017,where they can be packaged in the TCP/IP mode and send to the data center through GPRS DTU, then the data center will parse and display the received information. At the same time, the data center can be accessed by phone’s APP, which ensured a unified record of freshwater fish production processes information.(2)System reliability design can be achieved by the unique identification of one-time wrist-mounted Mifare Tag products to freshwater fish and the NFC technology and quality SOLAS.By writting critical traceability information (manufacturers, nu-mbering,logistics,etc.) and habitat sites into the electronic tags via the Andriod pho-ne’s NFC function,it is capable to achieve the traceability information stored in Mifa-re electronic Tag.(3)Critical information Consumers who use the NFC-enabled Android phones can read the critical traceability information,access the growth environment data center and carry out logistics queries by simply close their phones to the Mifare tag to achieve traceability purpose.The traceability system based on NFC and GPRS technology innovated the mode of supervision innovation on food safety and traceability,achieved the transformation of regulatory authorities to social participation, overcomed the shortcomings that the bar code Traceability Technology, two-dimensional code traceability technology could only enter firm and the commodity attribute one-time but not bound vendors and products together.,it also soved the problems of bar code and two-dimensional code’s low-security and easy-duplication as well. Dongting Lake freshwater fish quality and safety traceability system based on the Internet of things is running well,and the information flow smoothly.
