Along with the economic development and increasing material and cultural life of people, a single mode of railway container transport already cannot satisfy the demand of The Times, instead of the convenient and quick of container multimodal transport. However, China Railway Container Rail sea intermodal transportation has inevitable defects,such as container goods cannot achieve real-time tracking, artificial operation not accuracy and convergence gap between departments,the complicated operation process, low efficiency and so on.These problemsare to be solved. Then,the Internet of things technology applied to China railway container transportation, so that it can achieve more efficient, safe and fast transport is a practical problem facing China’s railway sector.The core of this paper is: to build the suitable evaluation model, by using the model toInterpretthe benefit changes before and after the application of Internet of things for China Railway Container Rail sea intermodal transport.First of all, this paper presents research statusofChina Railway Container Rail sea intermodal transportation and the application of Internet of things in the field of sea transportation. Secondly, this paper contrastively analyzes before and after the application process of Internet of things technology in China Railway Container Rail sea intermodal transportation, to find out the Internet of things technology brings to the advantages and benefits of China Railway Container Rail sea intermodal transport.Moreover, based on the perspective of the railway departments and port logistics enterprises, by using the theory of value chain analysisand Delphy expert investigation method to set up system model, finally the benefit evaluationsystem of China Railway Container Rail sea intermodal transportationwill be constructedbased on the Internet of things. The system includes two layer:Thirdly, by using the Delphy expert investigation method, analytic hierarchy process and the correlation matrix of pairwise comparison method to determine theIndex and weight of the model system. Finally, using the comprehensive fuzzy evaluation method to evaluate and compare for the system,and find out the plan of achieve more interests, for whether should use Internet of things technologyto provide suggestions for China Railway Container Rail sea intermodal transportation.
