In the age of new media, it has seriously affected the print of traditional media. Metropolis Daily is faced with various competitions from the Internet and traditional media. The developing reform and innovation of traditional media becomes the concern and research object for many experts and scholars. Currently, in the new media environment, almost all the traditional newspapers are seeking new ways, exploring new breakthrough modes.With the rapid development of the media industry environment, the competition for all kinds of media market is also increasingly fierce. Especially the Metropolis Daily, after got rid of the high-speed development period, also begin to seek a new way out. In order to seek a new way out, expand their living space under the fierce competition market environment, the traditional newspaper media have embarked on a remote or local version of the newspaper to open road."Oriental Daily" was founded in September 2004, which is the only comprehensive metropolitan newspaper in domestic broadcasting system that sponsored by Henan TV station. Its issue have covering the whole province, even the whole country, and the average daily circulation have more than 500000 pieces, It is the first newspaper in Henan province market, and only a newspaper of all media properties.Have founded ten years, "Orient Daily” is growing faster and faster. Not only the market position and circulation, but also the operating income and economic benefits, have more momentum than the main competitors in the same market.Since 2012, under the impact of the Internet, with the popularization of the Internet application, the print media in the nation, especially newspapers’ data growth negative. the traditional paper media need to seek a breakthrough, to find a new way to adapt to the fierce market competition. It is also said, at the same time of understand the Internet media in the full study, it is need to further dig their own characteristics and advantages, to promote a variety of media convergence, to stable the credibility and influence of traditional newspaper industry, and win the reader’s attention once again, achieve the transformation of traditional media in the new media environment.At present, the local edition of "Oriental Daily" across 18 cities in Henan Province, this is a successful example of successful trial version in the domestic provincial media.
