Academic information resources on the Internet continue growing nowadays, as aninformation carrier, academic informational websites have been exploited by manyscholars, but these websites did not enter the sight of their academic studies. Fromundergraduate to graduate study, I had been using academic websites for sixyears.There are many problems in making use of the internet consumer and academicinformation in the process of academic sites that have been found at many of the sitewhich can be improved. The master’s thesis written by the occasion, in the study bythe present situation on the consumer Internet survey of academic information,focusing on issues and innovative development strategies of academic websites thatexist to explore the system. Through this study, I hope not only to provide innovativesolutions for Academic websites but also offers suggestions on how to make Internetusers to better academic information consumption.In the beginning of the study preparation, the author arrange academic informationalsites fall into two categories-professional and academic literature websites anddocuments sharing websites, and sites were selected were typical of these twocategories of case studies, as well as the use of a questionnaire survey methods typicalhabits and preferences of Internet users during the academic information consumptionwere analyzed in-depth study of the site and the user in two ways.In the preface the author describes the value and significance of the interpretation ofthe relevant concepts firstly, conducted a literature review and a brief description ofthe innovation and research methods will be used in the present study.In the first chapter, the author analyzes the consumption of light to be the status quoof academic information and academic internet sites. The author first discusses thecharacteristics and mode of transmission of academic information, Internet users academic information consumption characteristics, thus summed academic scholarinformation website for the importance of the consumer. Then after a preliminaryinvestigation, the author of four typical types were selected academic sites-namelyChina National Knowledge, Wanfangshuju, Baidu Wenku and Daokebaba, these foursites for case analysis to understand the site. The development history, sources andholdings and other academic resources, to understand literature retrieval andorganization of the site resources and explores the way users use the site as well as theInternet academic scholarship information consumption methods. Through thischapter so that readers of academic information for the consumer as well as theacademic status quo internet websites have a general understanding.The subject of the second chapter of this thesis is to introduce the questionnairesection, mainly for Internet users to the status quo of academic informationconsumption were investigated, discussed the purpose of the survey, and details ofhow to implement the survey, explains preparations, reality check and data processingwork in three main stages. In this chapter, I found the user to retrieve, use, exist inunderstanding the academic information has some obstacles, and then summarize theissues related to academic sites that exist, such as academic literature class websiteinterface design obsolete, unable to adapt to the current function The era of socialnetworking, as well as document sharing websites information retrieval function isweak, the credibility of academic information and other related issues can not beguaranteed. These issues will be specifically demonstrated in the next chapter.In the third chapter, the author based on data obtained by questionnaire, which iscombined with case studies, not only sums up the advantages of two types of siteswhere academic, but also focuses on two types of problems in academic websites, aswell as user barriers to the use of academic sites encountered. The third chapter is themain part of this paper, the author takes a larger space in the text with the survey data,trying to show a more comprehensive academic site usage. Through this chapter, theauthor found that academic literature class website and document sharing websites have complementary functions in many places, it also offers innovative strategies forthe next chapter to the academic foundation website.The last chapter of the thesis, the author obtained according to the previous chapterthe problem further analysis, combined with the same type of situation as well asother excellent websites related to communication theory provides several innovativestrategies for the two types of academic information site; combined with the InternetResearch Users’ Information Literacy, the user how to better use academic websiteoffers some advice, to provide users with more targeted academic website usagepolicies.In conclusion, the author summarizes the deficiencies and improvement of theInstitute of existence, and the academic development of the Internet site werediscussed. In the near future, with further innovative academic literature anddocument sharing websites website, there will be a new full-featured platform toproduce academic information, this information platform will combine two types ofacademic superiority academic site, which not only conducive to learning and toimprove the user’s personal level of scientific research, more conducive to improvingsociety as a whole academic standards.
