Since the twenty-first century, the development of information technologyruns rapidly in China. Especially with computer technology as the core, a majortechnological change is undergoing. At the same time, with the development ofeconomy, work with efficient and rapid are necessary conditions for the developmentof the enterprise. Traditional form of managing enterprise’s personnel file is in paper,which wastes paper resource and takes up a lot of room, meanwhile makes trouble ininquiring and counting information, and the results can be mistaken and omissionseasily.The way can not keep up the pace of enterprise’s development..The application of computer to manage personnel files becomes necessary.Managing the personnel files by personnel file management system can not only savea lot of space but also ensure the integrity of the data; more importantly, the systemcan conduct accurate and fast inquires and collections in detail, which can be used tomake decisions.The system is designed in B/S(browser/server) mode, clients only need to installthe generic browser, which saves the development and maintenance cost, whilereducing the workload of the client; and dynamic pages is wrote by JSP technology.The system is developed in Eclipse platform, using java language combined withMySQL database.Through a comprehensive understanding of the working content, system needs toachieve the function of the five modules, respectively namely personnel work’smanagement module, personnel work’s inquiry module, personnel work’s countingmodule, personnel management reminding module and the module of updatingpermission and resetting password. Among them, the personnel work management module manages basic information about employees, assessment information,attendance information, contract information, medical information, leave information,mobilize information,presence information and enterprise’s department information,and the management activities include adding, modifying or deleting theseinformation. The personal work’s inquiry module includes inquiring simple andcomplex queries of all above information---inquiring on a single information and onmultiple information. The personnel work’s counting module counts the informationof age structure of employees, gender ratio, assessment results, attendance results andexamination results of various of departments. The personnel work’s remindingmodule includes reminding birth of employees and contracts to expire. The lastmodule is just update permission and reset password.According to the requirement analysis, the system is designed for five functionalmodules, corresponding to all above the five modules, which are designed in detailedrealization process. After the system implementation, the system has been fully tested.Each module is tested by multiple test cases, and the result showed that each moduleof system is function full, with the corresponding error alerts and can operatenormally.This system is well planned, beauty, fully functional and simple operation.Further more, this system plays an important part in the modern personnel files’management. The system meets the design objectives and has high practical value.
