Study on device and servo system of polarized grid winding machineAerospace and remote sensing booming with the rapid development of science andtechnology. Polarized wire grids have many important applications in our country. Such as‘GF-1’,‘FY-3-Microwave radiometer’,‘Fully polarimetric microwave radiometer’developed by the National Space Centre Microwave remote sensing. Polarized wire grids arecomposed of a series of vertical or horizontal metal wire. In the ideal case, when theelectromagnetic wave incident to the polarization grating from different direction, someelectromagnetic wave through the polarization grating, while others will be reflected, thenachieve the polarization of electromagnetic waves.For the moment the polarized wire grids which very expensive are mostly imported in ourcountry, while the domestic winding machines are mostly used in textile, electronicappliances, which applied to the polarization grating area have not yet reported. In view ofthe situation, this paper designed a set of winding device for the polarization grating,whichmainly completed the following works.On the basis of lots of relevant data, analysis the characteristics of several windingmachines, put forward innovative design proposal of polarized grid winding machine.According to the design scheme, carry out the detailed structure design of polarized gridwinding machine. Including driving of wire frame and supporting parts, wire frame structuredesign parts, cable parts, tension control parts and the lead parts.Verifing the cable slide crawl, based on the theoretical analysis of low velocitycrawling.The analysis on the structure of polarized grid winding machine, especially thepolarization grating rotating frame, the polarization grating holder and guide shaft. Makingthe static and dynamic analysis through the ANSYS Workbench software, then optimizedstructure design on the basis of analysis. In the case of structural design, carry out the detailed design of the control parts. Includingrotary motor control of wire frame, cable sliding control, tension sensor control and theproximity switch control.Based on the assembly and test of polarized grid winding machine, verify the wholedevice through the preparation of elliptic polarized wire grids.Calibration and test of thetension sensor and proximity switch communication control between touch screen and PLC.The control test of wire frame motor and cable sliding motor, measurement the relevantparameters of elliptic polarization grating which completed.The results show that, no matter the structure design or the control design of polarized gridwinding machine accompany with very good effect, the completed polarization grating meetthe requirements of the design parameters. In this paper, mentioned a new design scheme onthe preparation of polarization grating in our country, which is conducive to intelligent andsophisticated development for the promotion of polarization grating preparation work.
