At present, with the rapid development of automatic control technology, embeddedsystem technology,3G communications network and biological technology, marineaquaculture, which plays a key role in marine economy, extend the requirement into highlyintelligent-automatic control field. Nowadays, however, with the problems of overfishing,water pollution, and some other bad factors becoming increasingly serious, marine-fishingproportion in fishery dropped substantially, and traditional resources of fishery suffer aserious recession. Marine aquaculture industry, urgently need upgrade, fromstraightforward type of aquaculture to technology intensive and sustainable developmenttype.Meanwhile, with the arrival of3G era and the extensive coverage of3G network andhigh performance of3G technology in China, the transfer of large capacity, rich mediadigital content which is featured with three-dimensional, HD video and digital sound,through3G wireless network, has become achievable. ARM-Android embedded system isnow widely used in smart phones, PDA and portable intelligent terminals, which lays thefoundation for realization of mobile wireless-remote-monitoring system. Android operatingsystem is officially released in2007, after years of development, the Android system hasbecome one of the pillar platform of the smart phone system. In addition to the smartphone, Android is also gradually used in the Tablet PC and MP4portable mobile terminal.Android supports a wide range of hardware devices, it can be good used in the developmentof embedded systems.The collection, transmission and processing of environmental parameters of cageculture is the key to implementing precise cage management. In order to avoid laggedsolution to problems and lagged information transfer, this paper has designed a remotemonitoring system, which adopts Android as the operating system and uses wirelessnetwork technology as a basis, collecting environmental information through sensors,realizing the measurement and transmission of sea water temperature, PH, oxygen content,and real-time monitoring the aquaculture environment dynamic change.
