As the strong force to promote human civilization, mathematics is more and more important in the status of economic development, social work and daily life. Mathematics as one of the most important disciplines in the basic education and higher education, its quality of present situation is directly related to the overall level of education in our country. Now, mathematics education has an irreplaceable role in the field of education, how is the current situation of the development of mathematics education in 2012-2014, what is the hot and focus in the field of mathematics education research, how is the ability to absorb the mathematical education articles of fund supported, who is outstanding in the mathematics education, what are the similarities and differences with other disciplines in citation. These problems directly measure are difficult, and we can select several representative journals, quantitative research and analysis, insight to the development of mathematics education in our country indirectly.This paper selects three kinds of typical journals of the mathematical education, fox example, Journal of Mathematics Education, Curriculum, Teaching Material and Method and Mathematics Communication, adopts the method of bibliometrics to analyze these journals. The statistical indicators are papers, authors and citation, and intercompare transversely and longitudinally, in order to comprehensive showing the current situation of the development of mathematics education in three years. The article includes the research area, the distribution of the fund articles and the method of the research and so on. The indexes of author are composed of the authors, institutions, quantity, cooperation. Citation include the quotation number, languages of quotations, and types.The statistical results of these journals show that, the mathematics education research areas focus on curriculum and teaching materials, teaching, learning in 2012-2014. In addition to these, the number of articles that reflect mathematics humanistic spirit is increasing. Empirical articles occupy the main proportion of the fund supported articles, and they distribute in the learning, curriculum and teaching materials, and other fields. Mathematics education researchers tend to adopt the description of the basic statistical methods, some will use more advanced statistics, the number of researchers using experimental design is very low. The index of author show that, economic regions with high level development owe active mathematical education atmosphere, the output of the mathematics articles is higher in the area of colleges and universities gathered. The institutions of authors present different opinions, and the most important researchers come from universities, especially from the normal colleges and universities are high proportion of all the authors. The second are the teachers from primary and secondary schools. Researchers from the universities are participated in the cooperation of different institutions. The dominating citation language is Chinese, and the source of information is mainly books and journals, especially the network citation will become a new trend in the future.
