| Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the important tool to improve academic exchange,to transfer TCM science and technology information and to popularize culture of TCM. Traditional Chinese Medicine academic journals published research report, academic thesis, and comprehensive review, etc. It is the information exchange platform and the window of the scientific research of traditional Chinese medicine.Most of the academic TCM journals don’t have high level that has become one of the important factors that restrict the development of TCM.Research on Chinese modern traditional Chinese medicine journals has been educational world attention, and obtained many important results. It is necessary to comb the current situation of the journal of TCM of our country in recent years on the basis of previous research,to understand the basic situation of our country’s modern TCM journal and the academic influence of the main academic journal of traditional Chinese medicine in China in recent years, to provide certain reference for the development of Chinese journal of TCM.In this paper, through the way of document retrieval, investigation of domestic representative database, research library and consulting experts,to understand the basic information of TCM journals in all directions as far as possible,there are 154 kinds of TCM journals, including 140 kids of academic TCM journals (containing 10 English-language journals),14 kinds of journals on popular science. The basic information includes new journal name, number of journals, journal types, started publication time, the sponsors, publishing period, construction on new media. The basic information input the EXCEL, forming basic information database of TCM journals in modern China, and then to get the classification, region founded disciplines distribution,regional distribution, time distribution, publication Publication Frequency distribution, the organizers and new media platform construction, etc of academic journals of TCM by basic statistical description and quantitative analysis.Through the analysis of the basic situation of the journal of TCM in China, it found that there are some problems in the development process.(l) On the number, TCM journals have a certain size, but all kinds of periodicals academic characteristic of TCM is not prominent. (2) TCM journals are widely distributed in our country, but there exists the unbalanced development among regions.(3) Publication frequency of TCM journals in our country has been shortened, but it did not match with contemporary information dissemination speed still. (4) The most TCM journals have the functions on online office in our country, but the new media platform construction investment is still insufficient.In order to further understand the major academic journals of Chinese medicine in China for nearly six years of academic influence, this paper selects important citation index data of the 2010-2015 edition "China Academic Journal Impact Factor Annals (natural sciences and engineering technology) " for analysis. Journals to eliminate missing data of 6 years, there are a total of 114 kinds of TCM academic journals’s citation index data is complete in the sixth year in a row.There are four impact factor index systems,including composite index, comprehensive index, the basic research influence factor index, technical research impact factor index system according to different data sources in "China Academic Journal Impact Factor Annals (natural sciences and engineering technology) " This paper selects the composite indexes including composite total cited frequency, composite impact factor, composite impact factors except self-citation,and immediacy Index, as the core measuring indicators.It can be seen that the academic influence of the academic journals of TCM in our country as a whole at the slowly rising stage, and a large room to improve,according to statistics and analysis of core measurement indicators of 114 kinds of major academic journals of TCM in China from 2009 to 2014. In 2015 "China Academic Journal Citation Reports International", the "2015 China’s most international influence academic journal" (natural science and engineering) of 175 kinds of journals of science and technology, which only seven kinds of Chinese medicine journal, the "2015 China’s most international influence outstanding academic journal" (natural science and engineering) of 175 species, only "Chinese acupuncture".According to the journal published content,114 kinds of journals of TCM can be divided into three categories:traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine, combined Chinese and western medicine.For three kinds of core measurement indicators changes in six years to conduct a comprehensive analysis, and comparison analysis between the three kinds of journal of Chinese medicine, the visible academic influence of Chinese traditional medicine journals in our country is higher than the traditional Chinese medicine and combining Chinese and western medicine.And it can be seen the difference between the disciplines. Specific view, Chinese traditional medicine journals in recent six years average composite total cited frequency has ups and downs, the cited frequency change there is a downturn in 2009-2012,2012-2014 is on the rise, but still below 2009 in 2014.Composite average impact factor change trend in line with composite total citation rates.but in 2011, the composite total cited frequency is increased, and composite impact factor is declining.Nearly six years of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine journals change ups and downs is bigger, average composite total citation rates to float in 2009-2009 is larger, a fall of 20.3% in 2010, up 20.5% in 2011, and a 13.5% decline in 2012,2012-2014 showed a trend of steadily rising, but still below 2009 in 2014.Compound average impact factor only declined in 2010,2011-2014 average annual rise, more than 2014 nearly 10% in 2009.Chinese medicine journals, for nearly six years the average gross composite cited frequency fluctuations in 2009-2012 is larger, a 14.4% drop in 2010, up 30% on 2011,2012 fell 16.1%,2012-2014 showed a trend of steadily rising, but still below 2011 in 2014.Composite average impact factor change basic and composite a total citation rates, but 2014 composite impact factor is still lower than in 2009. |
