Security Analysis And Improvement Of Internet Protocol-based Signal In Circuit Switched Domain For Mobile Communication Network

The mobile communication network has been improved to IP network completely, the core network is transmitted from R99 version to R4 version, simultaneously, the signaling in the circuit domain is also transformed from ATM loading mode to the IP loading mode, which transfer all the data transmitted in the MC interface between the MGW and MSC server into the communication signaling data loaded in IP mode.The paper mainly studies and analyzes the IP-based communication protocol standards and the communication signaling processes, as well as the communication processes and the communication signaling format such as calls, text messages, location updating, etc., to recover the behavior of the mobile terminal and the communication content in the mobile communications. Referring to the existing communication protocol standards, we analyze the security and efficiency in the communication process and signaling, also, propose more efficient communication modes with higher security level. Our research is helpful to readers who need to work in the area of mobile communication network. It improves the network signaling monitoring capability and strengthens the security of the network communication.
