The Application Of Softswitch In The Long-distance Tandem Network Of Mobile Communication

In the course of the evolution of communication network towards Next Generation Network, Softswitch technology has been widely used. The concept of thoroughly separation of call control and bearer function is gradually introduced into the fixed network or mobile core network. Many countries have already entered the era of 3G, although China has no 3G license issuance, but the development and test work has been conducted in a tense.Now long-distance Softswitch tandem networks is beening builted of CMCC in all the nation.It's the first time of the application of Softswitch technology in the long-distance Softswitch tandem networks of CMCC and it will guide CMCC into the 3G era.The Paper disccuses the Softswitch based on separation of call control and bearer in the third generation mobile communication system WCDMA core network of circuit-switched domain, the main structure of the network under R4 Softswitch system architecture, focusing on the SoftSwitch in CMCC soft long-distance switching networks in the construction of realization.First the Paper introduces Softswitch technology background and the development of the status quo of certain province Mobile tandem long-distance network and the need for Softswitch equipment. Second, a brief intruduction on the principle of Softswitch, gives all IP network solutions in CS domain of R4 core network. On this basis, this focus on the election, engineering equipment and data set principles of certain province, and highlights the Softswitch equipment in the definition of data relay and TDM equipment on the similarities and differences. Finally, the combination of actual focus on the Softswitch technology in long-distance tandem Mobile Softswitch network in the construction of the achievement and maintenance of actual work on the maintenance work in order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of its own development of a series of software tools,including: SNT rapidity codify program of 2M system, document production program of MGW MO, SERVER SNT data definition tool.Because of this construction is the first time application of Softswitch technology in the mobile communication network in CMCC. This is a technical breakthrough right in terms of the traditional telecommunications network, we demonstrated in the program implementation and tuning a lot of research and exploration, and have accumulated valuable experience. Through practical experience that soft switching equipment for the effective mitigation of Tandem network load, and the telecommunications network for the introduction of a new network concept and technology, the next step for China Mobile's 3G strategy laid a solid foundation.
