Since 80’s of last century, PLC has been rapid development. The excellent performance of PLC in analog, digital operation, man-machine interface and other aspects of the network,has the advantages of strong versatility, convenient use, wide adaptability, high reliability,strong anti-interference ability, simple programming and so on. Replace the DCS system in a dominant position in the field of process control in some applications. Because of the traditional control system of sintering furnace temperature can not be good to three section temperature keep synchronous heating, it is difficult to meet the requirements of the production process, low qualified rate of product quality, production efficiency is low.Therefore, it has a set of effective temperature control system for a hard alloy factory, is of great significance.In this paper, in order to control the sintering furnace temperature on the three segment as the goal, to control the heating resistance wire current, design a set of sintering furnace temperature control system, the Siemens S7-200 PLC as controller, using PID control algorithm, using PLC programming the ladder diagram programming language, to achieve automatic control of sintering furnace temperature. Using Tiangong PC configuration software,to realize the centralized monitoring and management.This paper introduces the technological process of sintering furnace control, hardware design, the temperature control system of the configuration software and the design of control program. The actual operation shows that, the sintering furnace temperature control system has good stability, can meet the requirements of precision.
