The demand of cold-chain food has increased rapidly with the change of individuals’ diet over the recent years. Due to the development, the scale of cold-chain logistics infrastructure is becoming larger than before. However, it is a fact that Jilin’s farmers have remaining income and unreasonable pay with increasing output and better quality agricultural products, and it reflects that the problem of agricultural products circulation lag and refrigerated preservation technologies are falling behind. Although cold-chain logistics are still developing in China, but because agricultural products are seasonal and easy to decay, the processing, storage, and transportation conditions of the cold-chain logistics involves in higher technical requirements. When Jilin province is developing the agricultural industry, it needs to consider how to guarantee whole life cycle of the agricultural products, and reduce the risk of price fluctuation of agricultural products for the farmers, and this question is worth to think and explore.Agricultural products cold-chain logistics is a special logistics system of cross-industry and multi-sectoral, and it requires a good quality and time-spending as a research object. In order to ensure the quality of the cold-chain of the agricultural products, this paper analyses the whole life cycle process from picking to consuming products which based on developing actuality of agricultural cold-chain logistics and represented by fruits and vegetables in Jilin province. Combining with the characteristics of the agricultural cold chain logistics, this paper also analyses the feasibility and necessity on technology application of Internet of things, and proposes the application framework of "Internet of things" which is suitable for cold-chain logistics enterprise development. The purpose is establishing a systematic and operable application system of "Internet of things" for cold-chain enterprises.Internet of things technology in the application of cold-chain logistics is based on three layer architecture of Internet of things, which integrates the key module and technology according to the characteristics of cold-chain logistics. In the information perception layer, we collected the information of picking, frozen processing, distribution, transport and sales process by using radio frequency technology, sensor technology and video monitoring technology for follow-up monitoring. The relevant government departments and consumers can trace each stages of product information, and enterprises can timely access to the information in different stages of the cold chain, and they can realize distinguishing responsibility and improving efficiency. In the net-transport layer, we combined the transmission mode of wired and wireless network for transmitting data to the server of cold chain enterprises and application platform of government regulators, in order to realize information sharing, reduce the information asymmetry and the whole process of cold-chain becoming more transparent. In the application service layer, according to different application requirements, the main body of cold-chain logistics of agricultural products can be divided into three categories, namely, the relevant government departments, cold-chain business and consumer.
