The Influence Of Mobile Applications On Reconstructing Of Users’ Lifestyles

Nowadays, the mobile terminal applications have been playing an increasingly important role in people’s daily life. The people’s habits of trip, sociality and so on are being changed continually with the use of applications. So the new lifestyle appears with the influence of mobile terminal application. Under this trend, how to understand the mechanism which mobile terminal applications influence the lifestyle has became an academic and pragmatic topic which needs to be further studied. To answer this question, firstly we need to find the elements of the design object and its operational mechanism in theory. And then on the basis of this, we try to combine the feature of mobile terminal applications and lifestyle to do the correlation analysis for getting the internal correlation mechanism between them. These results will provide the design of lifestyle with the reference of theory and practice.We refer to the research findings of lifestyle in sociology, marketing and design to sort out the elements which affect and constitute the lifestyle in the previous research. At the same time, we also abstract the four basic analysis dimensions from the research findings of mobile terminal applications for the reason that it will help us get further insight into the nature which influence the lifestyle. The design research which is based on the above results is carried out by use of qualitative research approach with quantitative validation. The elements of lifestyle were supplemented through the user interviews and we use the the complete elements to construct the theoretical model of lifestyle by the method of storytelling. These findings help us to set relation between application dimensions and the elements of lifestyle, so the internal correlation mechanism can be obtained. The output of correlation mechanism which gives accurate description of logic relation of reconstructing between applications and lifestyle provides the design practice with effective focal point. Finally, we use a case study of wechat to explore further the elements of lifestyle and design method and then verify the theoretical result with design practice.The result of the topic research provides a theoretical framework and content of lifestyle and also explores the specific method in design practice. Hope these result will be helpful to the design circles and relevant employees.
