Research And Implementation Of Terminal Service For Space OS

In the progress of science and technology,the replacement speed of computer hardware hurries up.The Hardware Requirements of the software gradually increase,it become more and more difficult to keep up with the development for lots of computers.Compared to the LANs composed of full function computers,the cost of building a diskless terminal network is much cheaper.In addition,such terminal network is fully able to cope with the daily requirements of study and works.So the terminal network is suitable for many environments,such as schools' network classroom or enterprises' office networks,and so on.In the market,it has considerable demand for the terminal network.This subject is to research the building of terminal service in Space OS,so it can make the Space OS become a practical terminal server.This paper start from the features of Space OS,detailed the design and implementation of the terminal service of Space OS.the main content of research are as follows:Firstly,this paper researches the principle and characteristics of Space's window system,and designs the basic framework of Space's terminal service,and it also researches the method and process of the clients,and the needing services on the terminal server,the architecture of the file systems of the terminal server and client。Secondly,the paper discusses the security of terminal service:the access control and the security of data transmission between clients and server.It takes the cookie-based authorization mechanism for the access control,and SSH eneryption tunnel for data transmission.Thirdly,the paper researches the clients' audio support in terminal service. After the research of the audio subsystem,it designs and implements an audio-supportting method in client-server model.Fourthly,the paper research and implement a method for clients to run local applications.It discusses the purpose and significance of clients' running local application,deeply research the principle of clients' running local applications,and implements a swap method based NBD for the smooth running of clients' local applications.At last,the paper makes a summary for the subject,and expounds the particularity and lack of implementation,and introduces the next step of the research that can be continued.
