With the development of science and technology, we must improve the agricultural information technology and promote the precision agriculture to ensure the sustained growth of the fruit industry. The advanced technology enables us to get the soil information of the orchard and the scattered environmental information of fruit trees in a timely manner by analyzing the growing trend of fruit trees and the surroundings of the orchard, reducing maintenance cost of the orchard and increasing the output of fruits through analyzing the growth condition of fruit trees, fertilizing and irrigating the orchard appropriately.In order to obtain the temperature, humidity, light and other environmental information of the orchard, the orchard management used to rely on manual collection which could not ensure the accuracy and the timeliness of data. To solve this problem, this paper designs the orchard monitoring system based on Zigbee technology and completes the development of the corresponding information management system. This system not only can offer the surrounding information of the orchard timely, but also offer users an opportunity to analyze the surroundings information and make decisions and take action.The mainly work are as follows:1. Wireless network. We design the peripheral circuit and the sensor circuit based on CC2530 microchip to collect the information of the fruit trees in the orchard, and utilize Zigbee technology for wireless networking of end device, router and coordinator.2. The remote transmission of data. We use GPRS technology to send data to a remote data center which is based on the EM310 module, and use the EM310 serial port module to receive data of the coordinator.3. The TCP monitoring of the data center. We use the C# Tcp Listener class to receive the remote data, and design the corresponding database to store the data for data analysis accordingly.4. The presentation of data and the management of the system. We use Jsp web development technology to complete the background system, and use Ajax technology to asynchronously update the content of the html pages.
