With the rapid development of the Internet and the digital technology, more and more countries traditional media, especially print face the survival crisis. And the crisis did not slow down because of the traditional media of various self-help measures. Chinese mobile phone users have risen to 557000000 by the time of December,2014. And mobile phones have become the first terminal to watch online video program beyond the PC terminal. It means not only the traditional media is suffering the impact of the Internet, but the emergence of the new media have made all the media recognize that the only way is to combine.In August 2014, The President Xi Jinping have emphasized in the speech that promoting the integrated development of the traditional media and the new media must follow the law of the news media and the development law of the new media, strengthen the Internet thinking. And it must adhere to not only the complementary advantages and the co-development of the traditional media and the new media, but also the deep integration between in the content, channels, platforms, operation, management and other aspects of the depth.The reform of the traditional media system leads Chinese media industry to the road of group development. The media convergence of the media group also experienced different stages from the print media fusion to the exploration of the whole media. A the same time, due to the special national conditions, Chinese media convergence have presented some different characteristics from the foreign media. After experiencing the integration of the organization structure and the integration of the capital, Hubei daily media group has also walked out his own way, and is trying to integrate the means of communication and explore the final media form. This paper is aimed at summarizing the problems existing in the practice of the media convergence practice between the domestic media groups by analyzing the Hubei daily media group, and try our best to give out some useful measures.
