With the rapid development of modern computer information processing technology, digital signal processing technology has also been a corresponding development, the attendant is multi-frequency continuous wave radar have been widely used in the modern military and civilian radar fields. Since the radar target detection is based on a complex working environment, and in accordance with the radar echoes to acquire the motion information of the target, thereby to establish the target trajectory motion model by filtering the motion information, thus achieving the purpose of target motion detection. So the performance of clutter processing, speed and distance measurement and tracking filter for the multi-frequency continuous wave radar are put forward higher requirements. These function will be studied in this paper, specific work as follows:1.Analyzes on the characteristics of radar clutter environment and simulate several common clutter clutter by simulation method, handle the targets in clutter by the method of clutter map CFAR and simulate this processing;2.Study on the speed and distance measurement algorithms of the Multi-frequency continuous wave radar, firstly, analyzes on the step frequency and frequency-shift keying continuous wave radar, The research shows that the frequency shift keying CW radar cannot solve the ranging problem of multiple targets with the same speed. However, the multi-target distinction algorithm of stepped frequency CW radar can solve this problem and it had a good ranging performance but greater algorithm complexity. However, the combined algorithm of the two kinds of waveform can solve the ranging problem of multiple targets with the same speed quickly and correctly.3.Introduce the selection of coordinate and motion model on target tracking, several tracking filter algorithm is introduced, while the Kalman filter algorithm is analyzed in detail and simulate the processing;4.Realize the speed and distance measurement algorithm that combined the step frequency and frequency-shift keying continuous wave on DSP.
