This paper based on a radar signal processor is presented,and uses the constant false alarm processing technique under the background of clutter,noise and interference to complete the target detection.Radar CFAR detection technology is the key technology of radar signal processing system,which can be divided into sliding-window detection and clutter map detection,the clutter map technique can improve the detection performance effectively used for the clutter power in spatial domain changes abruptly,so it has been widely used.In this paper,the algorithm of constant false alarm detection based on clutter map is mainly studied for radar clutter suppression,and the algorithm is implemented based on DSP platform.This article focuses on the clutter map constant false detection algorithm,first introduced the basic theory of statistical detection theory and constant false alarm detection.Secondly,the basic principle and theoretical derivation process of CFAR algorithm for four kinds of clutter maps are studied.and introduces the surface technology,multi frame sliding window with double threshold and the method based on non-coherent integration,the three detection methods are simulated and analyzed with their performance of the classic Nitzberg's clutter map compared in Matlab.Surface technology has a better detection performance than point technology,surface technology has a good robustness against clutter;This paper puts forward the algorithm named the multi frame sliding window with double threshold aiming at solving the problem that the target detection performance degrades in low SNR,The detection probability and false alarm probability are analyzed,and its effectiveness is verified by simulation experiment;The detection performance of the classic will become worse on the background with a heavy long-tail greatly.This paper presents a improved clutter map based on the non-coherent integration,and the mathematical model and numerical analysis results are given.The analytic results show that its detection performance compared to the classic Nitzberg's clutter map improves in a more spiky clutter environment,and it can be easily implemented.Finally,based on a radar signal processor hardware platform,a zero-speed dynamic clutter map was established,and the design and implementation of clutter map technology was completed in ADSP-TS201.Measured data obtained from the data acquisition system and analysis results show that the zero-speed clutter map can detect the target echoes of tangential or slow flight well,improve the target detection performance,and basically achieve the desired results.
