To find useful echo target CFAR processing technology, mainly is used in the automatic detection of radar signals in clutter background. Environment of the sea is complex, in order to improve the patency and safety of vessel traffic during the ship out of harbor, shipping, marine radar is playing a crucial role.In the complex and changing environment to improve the detection probability and maintain a constant the probability of false alarm,are two important ctiterion of the radar constant false alarm processing. Due to a number of environmental non-uniform clutter region, the detection performance will be seriously affected, therefore this article study CFAR under non-uniform clutter environment.The article discusses the basic situation and development prospects of the CFAR, study kinds of clutter model, mainly study Rayleigh clutter, K clutter, Weibull clutter, lognormal clutter on non-homogeneous region, use matlab simulation in accordance with the principle, and analysis of the limitations of the basic CFAR in the clutter processing. Then,in Weibull clutter and K clutter environment ordered statistics (OS), ordered with cell average (OSCA), adaptive (ACMLD), and order statistics with greatest option(OSGO), order statistics with smallest option (OSSO) CFAR methods were compared and analyzed, given the probability of detection and virtual probability simulation experimental results on the clutter edge,thus get optimal CFAR strategy.The artical presents the dual rate which is a new CFAR detection fitted for non-uniform clutter model, under the non-uniform clutter clutter edges and multi-target environment, which can effectively detect the target, control the false alarm rate. This method is based on the principle of double sliding window, containing fast sliding window and slow sliding window, having different reference unit number in the two sliding window, choosing different sliding window of data according to the clutter environment,getting threshold from that to ensure a smaller jitter and clutter edge of the detection performance that be maintained in a non-uniform clutter.Finally,we designed a hardware language program of the dual-rate constant false alarm rate processing,cascaded with the acquisition program.Downloaded to DSZ616,real-time detection and processing for the radar real signal,proved the effectiveness of the program design.
