With the development of radar technology, radar has been widely used in the military and civilian fields. Especially in recent years, it has been widely used in civilian areas, airborne and marine radar has been indispensable. Marine environment is more complex during shipping and the departure of the ship. In order to improve the safety of vessel traffic, marine radar is particularly important. Main role is to target detection radar can detect targets ahead of where, to be able to determine in advance whether there is danger ahead of time response. However, due to the interference of the environment, target detection will be subject to interference. There will be false alarms, resulting in some unexpected losses. In order to avoid its occurrence, we must improve the detection performance. In the navigation radar, target detection is the main source of interference sea clutter, in view of this, this study in the sea clutter CFAR.In the context of sea clutter, CFAR processing needs to consider three factors:the distribution model of clutter, clutter zone edge effects, the target shadowing effect. In this paper, parameter CFAR method of treatment, respectively, of the Rayleigh distribution, the log-normal distribution, Weibull distribution, K distribution data points sea clutter histogram with the theoretical value. And the CFAR is in the Rayleigh distribution. For the clutter edge effects, this paper presents a multi-rate CFAR approach. Finally, a serious impact on CFAR sources of interference, co-channel interference, and its treatment.Radar target detection process is to real-time. If the time is poor, it will seriously affect the detection function. Therefore, the signal processing requirements of the selected is chips faster and precise. At this point, this experiment selected the FPGA as a processor, the use of Xilinx's ISE10.1 software FPGA the system process and the overall design, the use of simulation software MATLAB simulation was carried out.
