The informative construction in colleges and universities has been greatly developed and significantly improved since the twenty-first century. Along with the rapid pace of development in various colleges and universities, the number of various teaching instruments and equipment is also increasing year by year. However, the current equipment management in some colleges was still based on manual management model and there are shortcomings of duplication of data and information rate, low efficiency and long update cycle. Obviously, reform is urgently needed because this manual-based management is no longer suitable for the needs of modern management.With the development of computer hardware configuration and application of internet and communication technology, colleges and universities have a strong technical support in promoting the scientific management of information work of teaching equipment. This thesis analysis the needs of teaching equipment’s management in Shijiazhuang Engineering Vocational College, against with the actual management of our college, and based on the research of the application in the colleges in and abroad. On the basis of the application of the UML, B / S three-tier structure, MVC design pattern, database technology and network technology and other aspects of knowledge, this thesis using the Java language as a scripting language and a frame of Struts, Spring and Hibernate, and also MySQL database, designed a full process of management module from apply to scrap, daily circulation at all levels of management module and statistical auditing function modules. To a large extent, the rational distribution has solved the problem of data updating and the low level of information sharing by using the device management system. It showed that the system is stable, the operation is simple. The system optimized the management mode of teaching equipment, and it enhanced the utilization of the equipment, and meanwhile, extended the life of the equipment.
