Communication is the main support of building the informatization society, an important part of modern high-tech, and the nervous system and lifeblood of the national economy. In recent years, as the country continues to invest in the communication industry, communication engineering construction is in the rapid development period as a new industry with young workers, high technology content, intensive knowledge, broad involving areas, and high demands of practical experience. However, the current construction management is not standardized, the construction cost overruns, the schedule is backward, the quality is poor, and the coordination between the project participants is insufficient, which becomes the bottleneck that restricts the further development of communication engineering construction. To research and development an open and standards-based communication engineering information management system with a service application-oriented architecture, not only can integrate t only can the enterprise resource information into a unified application service platform, but also can improve the project management capabilities of an enterprise continuously, thus providing the information infrastructure for the continued development of an enterprise. This paper first analyzes the problems and deficiencies in the previous informatization construction of communication engineering enterprises and puts forward the system of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to design and study the necessity of building the communication engineering information system; second, elaborates the concept of SOA, and the SCM, smart phone terminal technology as well as the Microsoft SilverLight technology employed in the system; and then introduces the data dictionary mechanisms and common interface design specifications which are followed in the system design, and clarifies the business functions and key business processes of communication engineering information system; at last, summarizes the characteristics and application effects of the system. |
