In the context of a new round of media mergence, the appearance ot The Paper perhaps is a really survival of a turnaround to the traditional media.Based on The Paper as the study case, this paper studied the complex process since the public platform founding stage to the present development and discussed the communication effect and controlling factors, and bold prediction mode as well as the development prospect of its future earnings, studied its performance and characteristics of media convergence, analized its media convergence,so that we can summarize the mobile Internet era experience and lessons of the development of traditional media and new media integration, and then came to the final conclusion: media convergence is the inevitable trend of the development of China’s newspaper reform.In the preface of this article, we first illustrated the background of The Paper and two reasons of why we choose it as a case study.
