Qujing Civil Servant Information Statistical Management System

The information technology has already been widely used in almost every field of the society, and its applicable advantage in human resource management has been gradually emerged. The civil servant is a particular kind of human resource. With the Qujing municipal civil servants team continues to expand, traditional data reporting through paperwork cannot meet the requirement of statistics management which is becoming more complex and important. Although some departments have developed the management software for internal use, there were no unified program solution for the entire Qujing civil servants. And a fast, effective, accurate statistical management cannot be realized.This paper intended to design a program to simplify the statistical management process of Qujing civil servant departments and units, and improve the efficiency of management. Firstly, it analyzed the existing problems in Qujing civil service information statistics management. One problem is the traditional paper reports which may increase the workload of the staff and lower the efficiency of data acquisition and processing. On the other hand, manually data processing may lead to data missing, as well as timeliness and systematical issues. The third problem is the difficulty to extract and dig into the historical data, therefore the historical data can not be used efficiently for the further development of civil servants occupation planning in some units.The system is mainly based on Java and MySQL5.5 database. The lower level users input the basic information on the remote-client, and all the data will be stored in a database, in which operation like Query or Modification will be supported. After low level user confirmed that all the input data were correct, all the data report can be exported through backup function, and send to superior user. After all the data reports had been collected, superior user will import all the report data into one database through same client program, and all the data operation will be finished in the superior database. The system provides seven functional modules, including report input preparation, report management, checking summary, printing, query contrast, report reception and system management, which can meet the requirement of data maintenance, report management, data analysis and system management.The introduction of new system simplified the work flow, and makes the civil servants information management in Qujing City more convenient and advanced. The paperless management, energy and resources saving can be realized, and the concept of green government can be complied.
