This thesis discusses a tool software developed by Bosch Company for the maintenance management application of its top grade BS6000 welding controller. It discusses the software’s design and implementation from software engineering development view. This software’s main function targets include completed basic information management, controller status monitoring management, controller parameter management, controller fault information and liability management, programming assist management and welding procedure simulated computing. In demand analysis chapter, it first describes this welding controller maintenance management software’s general function user cases, it realizes completed support service tool requirement of hardware equipment for engineers and manufacturing operators. It also specifically analyzes and discusses this software’s controller status monitoring function, parameter optimization and correction management function, welding operation’s fault information management function and assisted programming and welding technology procedure’s simulated computing function. Then, on software design level, it discusses the above functions’ architecture and algorithm processing flow design. From design principles, software structure, main program modules’ internal flows and algorithm logic view, it also discusses the system’s software design scenarios. At last, it discusses the software’s main programming implementation. This software is developed by C++ programming, using Oracle in database programming, and runs in mainstream operating system platform-Windows. The system has passed test running and has positive effect in manufacturing practice.
