Design And Implementation Of Integrated Information Management System For Shanghai Information Pipeline Company

Facing to more and more new demands and new problems during business development, Shanghai Information Pipeline Company is actively looking for integrated business management system, thus set up a project to develop an informational support platform for overall management goals optimization. This platform is founded by current division-level business management information system, builds some new functions oriented to the company’s senior managers and overall business transaction management.This paper discusses software design and implementation of the above management system, using software engineering methods and technologies. The new system focuses on optimizing management capability of the company’s overall-level resources and business, and detailed business processing flows are achieved and optimized in different divisions’ subsystem level. In the company’s overall management level, the paper focuses on discussing demand analysis, software design and implementation of the following functions:pipeline facilities planning and constructing management function, pipeline maintenance management function, pipeline construction and moving management function and pipeline equipment asset management function. First, it sketches some related concepts and theory foundation. Then, in demand analysis part, it analyzes the system’s software function demands, especially discusses its pipeline network business planning management function, pipeline network maintenance management function, pipeline network construction and transferring management function, and statistics and calculation function for equipment asset status, cost and benefit. It also establishes each function’s user cases as the foundation of software design. In design part, it focuses on discussing the system’s software architecture design, database logic design and data chart design examples, and also gives logic flows of the main function modules’internal processing algorithm.This system is developed and arranged by mature multi-layer distributed architecture, using J2EE/Java programming to realize varied complicated application programs, and using Oracle database platform as background. The system has been finished all development and testing, is in stable running status now and gets first-step anticipated application achievements.
