The Design And Application Of University Archive Management System Development Based On SaaS

SaaS is a model to provide software by internet. Vendor will put applied software on its own server. Customer can order required application software services according to actual demand, pay for the vendor through internet according to the length of service, and get service through internet provided by vendor. Based on researching archives management function demand from higher education institutions (HEIs) inside and outside of Shaanxi Province, and combining with problems of archives management arising from Baoji University of Arts and Sciences, this master thesis explores how to design and implement archives management system in HEIs. First of all, based on SaaS, the thesis introduces the current development of archives information system at home and abroad, background of the research, SaaS, and raises archives management information system construction based on SaaS. Secondly, it analyzes archive system needs, SaaS service platform, digital processing and system non-functional requirements. According to the demand of archives management system from HEIs, the study proposes the principle of system design, analyzes system architecture design and system database design. It implements the system basic function module, the specific function module and database. Finally, the system was tested by the party file system module function and mass data access performance is tested, the study verifies that the system can run safely and stable on campus environment. It further proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the program proposed in this study, and provides the direction for the system needs to be done in the future.
