Big data, which arouses people’s top concerns within these years, is the technical product of fast developing internet in 21 st century, similar with new expressions like: web of things or cloud computing. World famous information company officially put forward the term "big data" in the "cloud computing encounters big data" meeting in May 2011. Just one month later, several famous research institutions like Mckinsey Company, published their relevant research report about big data. After, related researches and applications and related hot terms of big data becomes top concern information in computer industry and research field.Now, the related researches of big data have been largely improved. The valuable information hid in big data has been applied in farming, manufacture and medical industry, which also makes great contributions to natural and social sciences, such as the physics, biology and ecology. It seems that big data becomes the inexhaustible force of improving company’s competitiveness over night; it gradually changes the management and service patterns of government organization institutions, with an invisible way to replace visible one. Big data, as a new born force, is now changing our way of life and work, and even the way of thinking. Competitive intelligence, as one of the most important research topic of informatics, receives experts’ and scholars’ attention, and the research results could be fruitful. The theoretical and practical research system has been formed. The competitive intelligence has been widely studied and used in medical science, utility industry and retail industry. We can say that the competitive intelligence has played an important role in business competition.The fast increasing trend of big data, the new era of big data, and the information analysis patterns of experts and researchers, all these indicates the superiority of competitive intelligence within the perspective of big data. The big data is just like the public infrastructure in general, while as precious as the railway, the bridge, the port, the water and electricity system and the communication system. When it comes to the competitive intelligence values, the big data becomes different from the above facilities, which never depreciated or devalues. The competitive intelligence within the perspective of big data would influence the changes of social and natural environment; then it could further influence the knowledge system and lifestyle of mankind.The combination of big data and competitive intelligence is not only the historical trend of net work technique, but also the big leap of informatics especially the competitive intelligence, which makes the company and government conform on veracity, definition and timeliness. The big data as the competitive intelligence could offer precise forecast of future social working industry development trend and client needs, which secures the unfair advantages of information resources in business field. With the perspective of big data, the competitive intelligence study is the stretch of informatics, which fully integrates the competitive intelligence theory with internet technology, and shoves it to a higher level. The paper tries to analyze the value of competitive intelligence and the way it works within the perspective of big data; and at the end of the paper, the conclusion and the overview are based on the results of big data environment and perspectives, which could offer theoretical support to big data and the knowledge management of competitive intelligence of companies.
