The Competitive Intelligence System Based On The Date Mining Technology

With the development of IT, the data and information increases with geometric progression. Most of enterprise are confronted with the problem of information expansion. So, the information must be integrated to meet the need for information fast transfer and decision in time. But the traditional competitive information system(CIS) has shortage on data collection and process. They need a solution for data research, capture, organization, storage. So, in this paper, the CIS based on the data mining technique is proposed to solve those problems.Firstly, according to the analysis of the application and development of CIS in China and other countries, the importance and necessity of the CIS based on DM is proposed. And with the contrast of DM and CIS, the feasibility of CIS based on DM is proved. Secondly, following the DM's need for the data storage and pretreatment, the date warehouse is introduced to the CIS, and the system structure is improved—the data pretreatment subsystem and data storage subsystem is added to the CIS. On the base of that, the realization process of CIS based on the DM is discussed, and the clustering analysis method based on the projection pursuit technology including its algorithm is proposed. At last, the system model of CIS based on DM is set up and realized.
