Normally, production activity occurs only in the factories or enterprises, In the traditional design process, design and development are basically leaded by enterprises and designers. Even if participatory design could reduce the gap be-tween designers and users as far as possible, it does not fundamentally change the mode of production. The individual customization platform which 3D-printing is as a kind of manufacturing mode, is oriented to user demands, pro-viding personalized customization service. The platform has broken through the Limitations of traditional design work and the difficulty of product modification, users in industry chain could connects with others easily through the platform. For the participants, anyone around the world can become a designer, can post their own creative product and design on the platform, and put forward the im-provement opinions.With many kinds of of users and complex activities on the platform, the re-search and design on user behavior was based on the goal-oriented interaction design. In this research the definition of users and the typical user targets and demands on the platform has been summarized through user research methods which combines qualitative and quantitative analysis. Through usability testing ind comparative study which samples were extracted from the existing products in the market, the problems of existing products have been proposed. By setting the specific tasks, the analysis of the difference between the mental model and the implementation model in the platform design was made.
