3D printing is a manufacturing technology that uses layered processing and superimposed forming to add materials layer by layer to generate 3D entity.3D printing technology has the advantages of multi-material,multi-function and multi-color surface texture,low cost,less consumables,high degree of freedom,low process complexity and short production cycle.With the cost reduction of 3D printing,including printers and printing materials.3D printing has gradually entered the homes of ordinary people and is well known by ordinary people.3D printing needs to model a 3D model,and 3D model files can be printed.Although there are many 3D modeling softwares on the desktop,it is still a difficult problem for ordinary users to personalize 3D models because they need professional knowledge to operate.At present,we usually get the data of 3D model by manual modeling,scanning reconstruction and downloading network model directly.Due to the strong professionalism of manual modeling,the high cost of scanning and reconstruction,the limited flexibility of direct downloading model,and often can not find the desired 3D model,these are not friendly ways for ordinary users.In view of the above reasons,this paper will design a model design system embedded in the web page interactive 3D model editing,which is simple and easy to use,so that ordinary users can experience the fun of custom model.The system uses B/S architecture,the front part mainly uses the Three.js Open source frameworks such as,bootstrap,etc.are used to build 3D scenes,set up cameras and controllers,import and export models,interact and customize models.The backend part mainly uses the Node.js Framework,including the establishment of a server to receive front-end HTTP requests and access to the 3D model database operations and other functions,to meet the front-end requests for background data operations and return the results to the front-end.For 3D printing technology,a lightweight online 3D model customization without plug-ins is implemented on the web,and finally exported as a printable.STL model file.This system mainly realizes the customization function of online 3D model on Web page.The main process includes the import/selection of 3D model,the operation of 3D transformation of model,the interaction and customization of model,and the export of model to printable 3D model file format.In the last part of this paper,the advantages and disadvantages of online 3D model customization system will be summarized and analyzed,and the online 3D model customization system will be prospected.
