As an important factory parameters, motor torque has important reference value to assess motor performance. By the start of the motor industry, its torque measurement technology has been accompanied by its development. In recent years, with the development of micro-controller technology, testing technology of torque has also undergone a revolutionary leap. The traditional method of manual testing can not meet the needs of test for batch manufacturing, automation, digitization of torque measuring system is its current major trends, and the development of sensor technology, microprocessor technology, pattern recognition technology, computer software technology, it is possible for the motor torque measurement to achieve automatic, high-precision test.This paper carried out the analysis of principle of torque tests in-depth and proposed a solution based on the rotary transformer, the torque is converted to the corresponding deflection angle of dial pointer on the original device. The study found that the relationship between the size of the torque value and its deflection angle is linear, so the solution focus on this linear relationship coefficient, and extend it to automate testing. As a position sensor, the rotary transformer in this system transmits the deflection angle of pointer to background software by acquisition module, complete the analog to digital conversion. Using mathematical optimization techniques, mathematical relationships derived based on the collected deflection angle and torque value analysis. At the same time, collected the output signal of rotary transformer by torque testing system and transmitted via the communication network to the background software, and the background software process and analysis the signal and then displayed on the screen, and store the data.In this paper, a detailed analysis and design about the communications of multi-channel torque testing system and signal demodulation of rotary transformer is carried out. Design and develop the background software with object-oriented technology, coordination the connection problems of communication between background software and terminal equipment, realize the multiple simultaneous test function on multi-channel torque testing system. In the solver algorithms process the data with median filter, quadrant converter, variance stability determination to ensure the correctness of the demodulation torque data. Guaranteed the stability of graphical display by using memory cartography, prevent the flicker caused by redraw and reduce the unfriendly sense bring to the user effectively. In this system, the introduction of the database achieve the storage and management of data, management of user information, and also reinforces the execution rate by using trigger.Finally, the paper build a test platform under laboratory conditions, and verified the motor torque measurement system by implement experiments. The test results show that the system can implement fast, high-precision torque testing on multiple motors simultaneously, and the test data can be classified storage as a factory history, to facilitate future queries and analyzes. At the end the article proposed the further direction of the system.
