Resolver is a kind of high-resolution angle sensor, which is used to measure the speed and angular position of a rotating shaft in motion control. The photoelectric encoder and the inductive synchronizer are of similar function with it. As its application, we can get the rotor position and rotor absolute turning-speed from two-phase orthogonal output waveform of the resolver, which featured as no contacting, high precision, long life, small volume, simple structure and low cost. It can be applied to other sensor occasions, or can be applied to some special occasions, such as impact vibration resistant, inflammable and explosive severe environmental conditions. It will replace various kinds of position sensor such as photoelectric encoder, inductive synchronizer.This paper designs a kind of digital decoding circuit system which is based on STC12c2052AD.With the sine-voltage signal,w hich comes from the oscillating circuit, as the excitation signal of rotating transformer, and the peripheral circuit, the system can be formed a resolver to digital converter. It can calculate the rotation shaft angle θand the rotation speed n. On this basis, it also can analyze the various factors of angle calculating error.The system is emphasized on optimizing decoding scheme, simplifying the hardware circuit structure, improving conversion efficiency and reducing cost. The research contents are as follows:Further linearizing the existed eight sections decoding algorithm and reducing the requirements to the processing speed of micro processing componentsUnifying circuit type, realizing full digital circuit structure, increasing the reliability and anti-interference decoded circuit ability and using a single standard power supply formUsing amplifiers based on the D amplifier circuit to produce SPWM excited signal, reducing the demand of power quality and improving the resolver excited efficiencyWith the usage of “auto level” MCU chip, it will replace the DSP chip in a complex environment which is higher in price.Distributed parts of the processing function, and improving the signal processing speed and conversion efficiency.Experimental results show that hardware structure and software realization designed by the resolver decoder can accurately complete the decoding of resolver signal.
